Schooling on the grounds the day before the show
The Bluebird Lane team just got back from our last show of the year, the Caledon Dressage August Silver Show! What a great time we had at the show, especially with the beautiful weather all weekend.
Lori showed Ooruk at 2nd Level, winning every class they entered. The pair earned scores up to 71.579% in Second Level Tests 1, 2, and 3, and won the Second Level Open Championship with an overall 70.25%.
Our German intern Janina has been with us for two months, and she was partnered with the mare Bluebird Lane Kestrel to show at Training Level. This duo had scores up to 73.33%, finishing the weekend as Training Level Open Reserve Champions, a mere 0.6% behind the Champion!
A thousand thanks to coach Summer McEwan, as well as to Elena Shmoylova for grooming and helping out, and to the hard-working show organizers!
