Bluebird Lane Wren
Top Breeding and Best-ever Temperament!
Three year old Mogly daughter with the sweetest temperament. Wren is calm and willing, a quick learner who is compliant and accepting of all that comes her way.
Wren has been well-handled since birth and this summer we have gently started her formal training, introducing her to a wide variety of situations, with an older horse to show her how it’s done. Wren leads calmly all around the farm, stands perfectly, has been lightly started on the lunge line and responds beautifully to voice commands. She is well-mannered, great on the cross-ties, loves to be groomed, and walks into the wash rack willingly where she stands quietly enjoying her bath.
This is a lovely mare with all good experiences in her background. I see her as an amazing using horse for an owner looking for all-around versatility and solid performance in a horse who wants to be your partner.
Top pedigree for those who want to breed, this is a mare of good type who looks like a Fjord should look. She is a good size and has nicely balanced conformation. Her legs and movement are straight and true and she has great quality feet. Big walk, smooth trot, balanced canter.
Wren’s dam Rjelgrimm was imported from Holland, and she is our own best trail riding horse, everyone always wants to ride her when we go out in a group. She is calm and interested, goes forward relaxed and without fear or tension. She covers tons of ground in her walk but not by rushing, comes back when you sit a little deeper, and handles tricky situations without getting worried.
Rjelgrimm’s other offspring include a mare in BC who the owner describes as the best mountain riding horse she has ever had! Another of Rjelgrimm’s offspring the owner describes riding her “like floating on a cloud”. Both these offspring were highly evaluated by the NFHR, including one of them being the top scored horse in Alberta.
Wren’s sire Mogly was bred in Germany where he was approved as a breeding stallion with top scores, earning Ster and Prestatie designations (highest designation in both conformation and performance) with an extremely impressive 83% in his 30-day stallion test.Wren is up-to-date on everything, teeth floated and wolf teeth removed. She has been gently and carefully brought along and is ready for a pleasure, performance, or breeding home!
Wren is sold, she is going to Calgary! Congratulations!
