Raldiene
Classic Fjord Beauty
Here she is – a mature proven mare with training and mileage! Raldiene is a 1996 mare, well-trained for both school riding and trails. Her very comfortable rocking-horse canter endears her as a lesson or lunge-lesson horse, plus she has plenty of trail experience and is a proven broodmare.
Raldiene was imported from Holland and evaluated A-premie. Her sire is Halstor, making her a half-sister to Prisco, and her dam’s sire is Brusvein. Very strong dam line, with ster mares going back four generations. A mare doesn’t just pass on her own characteristics, but those of her ancestors, and this depth of strength in the dam line indicates a very good breeding mare. Raldiene has had two foals while at Bluebird Lane, and they are exceptionally nice representatives of the breed.
A classic Fjord beauty, Raldiene has great conformation and breed type. She has a beautiful sculpted head with well-defined bone structure. Her conformation is well-balanced, and she has good withers and a well-raised neck.
A mare equally well-suited to a family or breeding home.
Congratulations to Raldiene’s new owner in Massachusetts!
